As for the old things, I pulled these books away from their friends on the various shelves and snapped their photos, these teen-agers off to the prom—still wearing their stickies and ragged page markers from readings and thoughts of edits. Never a dull moment in the life of words.

Currently available is The Veiled Sayings: A Personal Response to the Gospel of Thomas. See description below.  Cost is $15 plus $3 for shipping within the contiguous U.S. This book is revised and expanded from its first publication. Watch for the green cover (see below). My conversations with Amazon have not been helpful, but that is another (if less dependable) avenue for purchase.

 A new fiction project is hoping for a home and is out there looking for one. In the meantime, you will find excerpts on the following pages from the books pictured here, along with verse and prose that promise to float around with me into the years ahead. I’ll meet you in a poem, or an essay, or a story— who knows where.
